Operating from both Hluhluwe via Memorial Gate into the northern Hluhluwe Section or from St Lucia via Nyalazi Gate into the southern iMfolozi Section. We offer you a choice a 3, 6 & 9-hour open safari vehicle game drive options, accompanied by our local guides. All our guides are highly trained, legally registered with all required departments. All of whom were born and raised in the rural communities around this park. They are all extremely experienced and carrying with them a wealth of local knowledge.
No visit to South Africa is truly complete until you have explore the rich diversity of nature & wildlife of northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The flagship park of our wildlfe heritage is the glorious Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, or simply referred to locally as H.I.P! A park so special to us! Not only is it our lifeblood, it is life...world renowned as the place where the white rhino was saved from certain extinction. Thanks to great projects, like "Project Rhino", initiated and lead by great conservationists of the area, like Dr Ian Player! The park is the genetic home to every single White Rhino alive in the world today! This dramatic endeavour is showcased at the Centenary Center in the southern "iMfolozi Section" of H.I.P.
No other park anywhere in South Africa can compare to it. This 96000 hectare wildlife wonderland is a shade under 5% the size of the Kruger National Park, yet it is not overdeveloped, overcrowded and as overcommercialized...just the way we like it! It is still very much a conservation orientated park with huge tracts of pure wilderness areas, completely devoid of human activity, except for the tireless guardians of these areas, the conservation services park rangers.
