Carmen Mota show is one of the most talented and best known set directors of flamenco in Spain. Mare Nostrum resort is a beautiful complex in which the latest work of our director takes place. "Antologia" is a show of 40 dancers performing the theatrical part with flamenco dance and in the remaining part of the ballet takes place a dance show at the highest world level. Carmen Mota Compañía de Danza, as we know it today, was born in 1977. In this year its creator and director, Carmen Mota, abandons her career as a solo dancer to dedicate herself fully to the choreography and artistic direction of her own company. La historia del teleférico se inicia en 1929, cuando el abogado Andrés Arroyo González de Chávez, inspirado en los funiculares alemanes de la región de Zugspitze, proyecta la construcción de un funicular en el Teide, costeando todos los gastos. El proyecto sería redactado por el ingeniero de caminos José Ochoa, tras realizar diferentes estudios en Suiza, el Tirol austriaco y Alemania. Tras muchos años de gestiones al más alto nivel y modificaciones del proyecto inicial, la Sociedad Teleférico al Pico Teide, creada el 15 de octubre de 1959 para la explotación de un servicio de teleférico, logra permutar con el Ayuntamiento de La Orotava los terrenos necesarios para la construcción a cambio de una escuela ya construida en Aguamansa y unos 800 m² de terreno.1​ Las obras comenzaron en 1965, inaugurándose en 1971.2​ Nothing defines your company and show concept better than your own words: "... for more than 50 years I have been professionally dedicated to dance and choreography of flamenco art. With the creation of each of my shows I like to offer a different version of Spain and myself. Flamenco is an art that can be fused with different types of music and dance. I decided to break with tradition, with clichés and use my imagination to create shows that breathe magic, modernity and passion on all four sides, fusing Spanish Dance and Modern Dance. I like to risk applying the most innovative proposals of the world of art to my shows. Not only I limit myself to choreographing the dancers, I am personally involved in all the processes for the creation of my shows: castings, choreographic creation, costume design, lighting, stage direction, musical direction ... I take the liberty of using more usual techniques in a Broadway or Las Vegas show, respecting at the same time the roots that make the Spanish Dance so extraordinary. The past, the present and the future interspersed with different cultures give rise to shows that are pure energy ... "
