Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Colombo. We will use the Colombo–Kurunegala Expressway to decrease the travel time.
On the way, we will stop for breakfast to try some authentic Sri Lankan flavors.
Upon arrival in Sigiriya, we will climb to the summit of the UNESCO-listed Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress. See the Sigiriya Frescoes and Mirror Wall, explore the ancient royal palace ruins, and enjoy breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of endless green jungles, calm water gardens, distant blue mountains like the Knuckles Range, and the neighboring Pidurangala Rock. It's the perfect opportunity to click some pictures for your social media.
After climbing down, we will take you to a local restaurant for a traditional Sri Lankan lunch.
Next, we will visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, Sri Lanka's largest and best-preserved cave temple complex. Admire centuries-old Buddhist murals and over 150 Buddha statues, and enjoy scenic views from the temple entrance.
After visiting the two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, we will visit a spice and herbal garden to learn about Sri Lankan spices and Ayurvedic herbs. If you like some of them, you can even purchase some local products.
Our last attraction will be Sri Lanka's largest wholesale fruit and vegetable market. It's the perfect place to have an authentic cultural experience of Sri Lanka. Here, you will see thousands of farmers, traders, and trucks buying and selling massive quantities of Sri Lanka's fresh produce.
Once the tour comes to an end, we will take you back to Colombo and drop you off at your hotel.

The tour involves climbing steps at Sigiriya Lion Rock.
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking and climbing. When visiting Dambulla Cave, please avoid sleeveless tops, crop tops, and short shorts/skirts.
Lightweight long trousers, loose pants, or a long skirt/dress are good choices.
Shoes must be removed before entering the cave temple. The stone can become very hot, so socks are a good idea.
Bring sunscreen and a hat for sun protection.
Carry a camera to capture the scenic views.
