Meet your guide in the morning and receive a briefing on the route. Then, commence your journey from Kandy to Lebanon Estate, where an extraordinary hiking experience awaits at the Knuckles Mountain Range.
Be transported to the hike starting point, a remote village named Bambarella, situated near the majestic forest range. The adventure begins as you meander through the village, immersing yourself in the serene beauty of the surroundings.
At the end of the village, arrive at the gateway to this pristine World Heritage conservation forest. Journey through pygmy and cloud forests in Knuckles. Your destination is a 50-year-old cardamom hut hidden in the middle of the forest, the last cardamom plantation in the Knuckles Mountain Range. Spend the first night there.
Discover around six stunning hidden waterfalls, some of them really big. But the most special part is where you'll camp on the second day. Imagine sleeping in a cave right next to an 80-meter-high waterfall. It's a unique experience you won't forget.
On the third day, reach Ranamure village in the evening through some beautiful open grass plains located in the Knuckles Range. End your journey at Dambulla or Kandy city in the evening.
