Begin your safari in Arusha, where you'll meet your guide and head to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Here, you’ll also encounter giraffes, lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species, including the vibrant lilac-breasted roller.

From Tarangire, travel to the Serengeti, where the true magic of the migration unfolds. Wildebeests and zebras fill the plains, with predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas not far behind. As you move toward the Northern Serengeti (Kogatende), witness one of nature’s greatest spectacles: the Mara River crossings.

Thousands of wildebeests and zebras brave the waters, often with crocodiles lying in wait. This area is also home to big cats, with lions, cheetahs, and leopards frequently spotted. Over the next few days, have full-day game drives in the northern Serengeti, soaking in the drama of the migration, and exploring the region’s stunning landscapes.

On your final day, immerse yourself in Tanzania’s rich cultural heritage with a visit to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes near Lake Eyasi. The Hadzabe, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes, will give you the chance to join them on a traditional hunt. The Datoga tribe will showcase their blacksmithing skills and offer insights into their way of life.
