Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Begin your 4-day Uganda gorilla safari with a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Drive on a 4×4 wheel safari vehicle on a fairly tarmacked road along the Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara route. Stop at the Equator line in Kayabwe for photography and geographical experiments.

Continue to the southern hemisphere for your Uganda gorilla safari. Enjoy lunch en route at Mbarara town. Drive further to the western part of Uganda, passing the rolling terraced hills of Kigezi highlands and the long-horned Ankole cattle. On arrival at your preferred accommodation facility, check in for dinner and a night's rest at the hotel or lodge.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Begin the day with an early morning breakfast then drive to the gorilla trekking sector headquarters. At the headquarters, receive a briefing on the tracking etiquette. During the briefing, a total of 8 tourists are allocated a single gorilla family to trek according to fitness levels.

Receive a trekking stick and head to the jungle in the company of the park rangers, guides, and a Tourism police officer. Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest is unpredictable because of the movement behaviours of the gorillas and therefore the activity lasts about 4-6 hours.

Spend these hours in search of the gorillas, with only 1 hour spent in the presence of these gentle giants. At the end of this memory-filled 1 hour, return to the park headquarters where you receive a Uganda gorilla trekking tour certificate.

Later, meet with your safari driver guide for a drive to your lodging facility. Enjoy a meal at your accommodation and rest for the night.

Day 3: Second Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On this day, have breakfast and get ready for your second gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The day starts with a gorilla trekking etiquette again then allocation of a gorilla family to trek.

This time you have a chance to trek another gorilla family. After trekking, have a community walk. Return to your lodging facility for relaxation.

Day 4: Return to Kampala
After a beautiful night in the foothills of the gorilla land, embark on the road drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for a departure flight. Enjoy lunch and route and purchase any craft materials at several souvenir shops along the way.
