Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the epic Highlands and the enchanting Isle of Skye. Prepare for breathtaking scenery, fascinating history, and plenty of Scottish thrills. Hunt for Nessie on Loch Ness, trek through wild landscapes, and dive into Scotland’s bloody past. At night, unwind with a dram and enjoy traditional music. Take a ride on the legendary Jacobite Steam Train, the ‘Hogwarts Express’ from Harry Potter and fall in love with the magic of Scotland on this Highland Fling!
Day 1: Edinburgh to Oban
Kick off your adventure in Edinburgh and head west to the Kelpies, towering over the landscape. On the way, we’ll pass Stirling, with views of Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle. Into the Highlands we go, stopping at Doune Castle (Outlander & Game of Thrones) and the iconic Glen Coe. End the day in Oban, where the freshest seafood and local tunes await.
Day 2: Oban to Isle of Skye
Keep an eye out for Ben Nevis as we head north, then marvel at the Glenfinnan Viaduct, aka the ‘Harry Potter Bridge.’ Cross of your bucket list with a ride on the famous Hogwarts Express, and later hop on a ferry to Skye. We’ll wrap up the day at a cozy pub with a dram and good vibes.
Day 3: Isle of Skye
Explore the magical and mystical Isle of Skye with its waterfalls, ancient peaks, and legendary tales of the faerie folk and warriors of the past. We’ll stop for a pic of Eilean Donan Castle, the most photographed castle in Scotland, then head to Inverness via the Dundreggan Rewilding Centre, where we settle for the evening.
Day 4: Loch Ness and the Highlands
Try your luck spotting Nessie from a sonar and legends equipped cruise boat or explore the Loch on foot. Visit famous Outlander locations such as Beauly Priory, Clava Cairns, and the haunting Culloden Battlefield, before returning to Inverness for more shenanigans on your own time.
Day 5: Loch Ness to Edinburgh
We add a bit more culture and history as we experience Highland life at the Highland Folk Museum before we taste Scotland’s finest whisky! Stroll through Dunkeld, visit its gorgeous cathedral, and return to Edinburgh in the evening.

• Please allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
• Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Allow at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
• The order of the itinerary route is subject to change.
• Please note that the Jacobite Steam Train service may be subject to alterations and cancellations at short notice, outwith our control.
• It is not possible to upgrade the Standard ticket for the Jacobite Steam Train to a First Class ticket.
• The accommodation is in a mixed-gender multi-share hostel dorm, where minimum age to stay is 18 years old.
• Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase weighing no more than 33 pounds (15 kilograms) and 1 carry-on bag.
Meet 15 minutes before departure and look for your designated queue. Our staff will check you in.
