Head out from Sebastian Inlet as the light drops, on a boat reserved for your group alone. Four unhurried hours of open water, wildlife along the shallows, and a Florida sunset seen from the water.
Your captain meets you at the ramp at Sebastian Inlet, runs through a short safety briefing, and has you on the water for the best part of the evening.
This is a private charter. The boat is yours and your group's alone, with no strangers aboard and no fixed script. Captain Richard has spent his life on this stretch of coast and reads the evening before deciding where to go: the lagoon side when the wind is up, the inlet and nearshore water when it lays down.
The Indian River Lagoon is one of the most biologically diverse estuaries in North America, and evening is when it wakes up. Dolphins work the channel edges as the bait moves through. Manatees surface in the shallows. Ospreys and herons drop onto the spoil islands, and sea turtles come up for air in the quieter stretches. None of it is guaranteed, because it is wild water, but a calm evening out here rarely disappoints.
As the light goes, your captain sets the boat up for the sunset itself, with the inlet and the bridge behind you. Bring a camera and something to drink. There is nothing to do but watch it happen.
It suits couples, families, small groups and anyone marking an occasion. No experience is needed, there is no gear to carry, and children are welcome aboard.

Minimum age 2. Trips run in most conditions, but your captain may move or reschedule a trip for weather or unsafe water - safety is always his call. If he cancels or reschedules, you can choose a full refund or move your booking to another date. Alcohol is welcome in moderation: no hard liquor, and cans or plastic bottles only, no glass on board. Pick-up and drop-off from nearby hotels or vacation rentals can often be arranged - mention where you are staying when you book.
Meet at the boat ramp. Captain Richard will be waiting at the dock with the boat, a 26-foot Avenger bay boat. There is parking on site. Please arrive about 15 minutes before your departure time so we can get everyone aboard and away on time.
