Day 1. Las Vegas → Grand Canyon National Park
Depart Las Vegas on a luxury motor coach with free Wi-Fi, arrive at the South Rim and begin your day with two of its most iconic viewpoints — Mather Point and Bright Angel Lodge.
It’s time to begin exploring on your own or join an optional 90-minute professionally guided walking tour, starting from Mather Point, continuing to Yavapai Point, and finishing at the Bright Angel Lodge, where you can enjoy more stunning canyon views at your own pace - bring your camera!
With extra time to explore this awe-inspiring natural wonder of the world, you'll have the opportunity to fully iengage in the Grand Canyon experience. Stroll along the scenic Rim Trail, discover panoramic viewpoints like Yavapai Point and Hopi Point, and visit the Yavapai Geology Museum for an educational look into the canyon’s geological formation.
Back to Bright Angel Lodge, then you will be dropped off at the Red Feather Lodge. The check-in time: 4:00 PM | Check-out time: 12:00 PM. Early arrivals may store luggage at the front office.
Your hotel is conveniently located in the center of Tusayan, where most tours and activities depart. The IMAX Theater is right next door, and it's just a 15-minute walk to the Grand Canyon National Park Airport — the departure point for helicopter tours, Hummer adventures, and skydiving experiences.
