You can choose between two flexible departure times:

Morning tour: 8:30–11:30 AM

Afternoon tour: 2:30–5:30 PM

Your experience begins as you meet your local English-speaking guide near the Old Town. From there, you’ll step into quiet side streets and hidden alleys, away from the busiest routes, to get a sense of how local people actually move through the city.

Along the way, you’ll visit some of Hoi An’s most important cultural and architectural sites, including:

Nguyen Tuong An Ancestral Temple – learn about family worship, ancestor veneration and how these spaces connect generations.

The iconic Japanese Bridge – hear the legends behind this landmark and discover the symbolic details many visitors overlook.

Quan Thang House – a beautifully preserved merchant house where you can admire wooden carvings, courtyards and traditional layout.

The Fujian Assembly Hall – explore its ornate altars, incense coils and rich Chinese-Vietnamese history.

The Vietnam Traditional Performing Arts Theatre – see an important venue for local arts and gain insight into Hoi An’s performing traditions.

The Hoi An Local Products Museum – discover objects that reflect trade, everyday life and the town’s trading-port past.

Quan Vu Temple – learn about the historical and spiritual importance of this temple and its role in community life.

Throughout the walk, your guide will point out hidden symbols, feng shui principles and architectural details that you might otherwise miss: the positioning of doors, the balance of water and wood, animal motifs, roof decorations and more. Midway through the tour, you’ll pause at a charming local tea house for a short break. Enjoy a cup of tea or a light refreshment while you rest your feet, review your photos and ask deeper questions about culture, daily life and how Hoi An is changing.

The pace is relaxed, with plenty of time for photography, questions and quiet moments in courtyards, gateways and riverside corners. With small groups (maximum 15 guests) and the option of private tours, this experience feels personal and unhurried.
