Your day begins with hotel pickup at around 8:30 AM from your hotel in Guilin city center. Travel comfortably to your first stop, Reed Flute Cave, one of the most famous karst caves in China.

Spend about one hour exploring the cave’s extraordinary underground world filled with dramatic stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, and colorful illuminated formations. The cave has been shaped by nature over millions of years and is often referred to as a “Palace of Natural Art.”

Next, continue to Elephant Trunk Hill, Guilin’s symbolic landmark. Named for its resemblance to an elephant drinking from the river, this scenic park offers beautiful views of the Li River and surrounding karst mountains. Enjoy approximately 40 minutes to walk, take photos, and admire the unique rock formation.

At midday, enjoy free time for lunch at your own expense. Your guide can recommend local restaurants according to your preference.

In the afternoon, transfer to Yanshan Mountain. Climb to the top and take in sweeping views of Guilin’s countryside, lush greenery, and limestone peaks. The peaceful atmosphere and fresh mountain air provide a refreshing contrast to the city.

Later, visit the Guangxi Guilin Tea Research Institute, where you will gain insight into China’s long tea tradition. Walk through the tea fields, learn about tea leaf picking techniques (seasonal), observe processing methods, and enjoy a tea tasting session. This immersive experience offers a deeper understanding of Chinese tea culture and craftsmanship.

After the tour, relax during your transfer back to your hotel in Guilin.
