Begin with pickup from selected hotels in central Hangzhou. Travel to the China National Tea Museum, where your guide introduces Chinese tea culture, major tea categories, traditional tea-making methods, and the story of Longjing green tea.
Continue to Longjing Tea Village and enjoy a local farmhouse lunch surrounded by the tea-growing landscape of Hangzhou.
After lunch, take part in a hands-on tea culture experience. Walk into the tea garden and pick tea leaves, learn about tea plants and harvesting, and try traditional hand-roasting under guidance. Then learn how Longjing tea is brewed, prepare tea yourself, and enjoy a guided tasting while discovering how water temperature, brewing time, and leaf quantity influence its aroma and flavor.
In the afternoon, set out on a relaxed scenic walk from Longjing Village toward Nine Creeks. Follow paths through tea hills, woodland, streams, and quiet valleys, with time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and experience the natural side of Hangzhou at an easy pace.
At the end of the walk, meet the vehicle and return to central Hangzhou. Drop-off is provided at selected central hotels or an arranged city-center location.

This tour includes approximately 2 hours of walking on outdoor paths through tea fields, woodland, and stream valleys. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Tea picking and hand-roasting activities take place at a local tea experience venue and may be adjusted according to weather or on-site conditions while keeping the tea culture experience included.
The walking route may be shortened or adjusted in case of heavy rain, thunderstorms, extreme heat, or other unsafe weather conditions.
The China National Tea Museum is closed on Tuesdays, so this activity is generally unavailable on Tuesdays.
