Before you enter the museum, visit the sculpture garden, which is located directly in front of the museum - a former Habsburg city palace.
A special feature of the building is the ‘Tea Room’ on the first floor, which was designed by Markus Schinwald and Hans Kupelwieser as a combination of parlour and cabinet of curiosities. Treasures and valuable handicrafts from three centuries are presented in this classicist room.
