Take a half-day tour by luxury air-conditioned vehicle and motorized boat. Float alongside homes, shops, and schools and also take a rowing boat ride around the flooded forest as an option.
Start with hotel pick-up or go to the meeting point to board your vehicle, a shared air-conditioned mini-bus with a tour guide, or private vehicle (with optional guide), according to the option chosen.

Kompong Phluk is 30 kilometers south-east of Siem Reap. Visit the pagoda or local market first, then go by motorized boat on a tour of the stilted buildings. See where the people have courageously adapted to some of the most unimaginable conditions, all with a big smile on their faces. Enjoy the beautiful atmosphere in this one-of-a-kind village from the comfort of the boats.

The guide, if present, explains the history, culture, and lifestyle of the villagers. The villages are surrounded by mangrove forest. Take an optional side-trip of the flooded forest on a rowing boat, available October to January. The motorboat stops at a small floating cafe, a good place to see the sun go down.

After this awe-inspiring experience, you will return to the hotel around 1:30 pm for your own leisure time.

• Motorized boat fee is not included for private tour but join-in options. The fee depends on the size of the boat: small boats for 1 to 4 persons are $35 per boat, 5 to 8 persons $45 per boat

• Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not suitable for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair

• Pick-up time begins from 7:40 to 8:10 am or 1:40 to 2:10 am according to the option chosen; tours leave the office at 8:30 am and 2:30 pm sharp
• Please note: tour options by private vehicles do not include a guide, motorized boat, canoe, and entrance fees.
• It is recommended to begin the morning private tour at 8:30 am or 2:30 pm for the afternoon tour
• If you require a guide for the private option, it can be selected as an add-on when booking
• Driver's English is very limited.
Pickup is available from your hotel/accommodation in Siem Reap. Please provide your accommodation details such as hotel name and room number upon booking and be ready for pickup at your hotel from 7:40 AM for morning tour and from 1:40 PM for the afternoon tour.
