The Kananaskis Surf Trip is a twist on your typical Whitewater Rafting experience. This tour is aimed at those who want a bit more thrill and excitement within their tour, but not quite ready for the next class up.
After crossing the swirling whitewater, it’s time to kick it into overdrive and power back upstream right into the heart of the currents to take on the next part of the adventure. Surf the pumping waves for as long as you can!
Feel the power of the river, hang on tight, and prepare to get wet!
We meet at our River Base where you'll be greeted and checked-in with one of our awesome team members. We then gear up in the provided wetsuit, life jacket, helmet, booties, splash jacket and wetsuit jacket (for those colder days!), gather around our demo raft to go over a safety briefing and load the buses for a 5 min drive to the put in point.
At the river put in you'll meet your fun and trusty guide. Pay close attention as they go over paddling commands and general instructions for your time on the river. Now hop in the raft and let's go rafting!
After your fun filled adventure you'll be reunited with our buses for a quick 10 min ride back to our River Base to change and grab a refreshing beverage. You'll also be provided the "how to" on where to view and purchase the photos from your tour.
Your adventure has now come to an end, if you took our transport from Canmore we are ready to bring you back, if you met us at the River Base you are free to enjoy the rest of your time in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Don't be sad, we will be here whenever you are ready for more fun!

All reservations are subject to a 48 hr Cancellation Policy.
Every participant will need to sign a waiver form. Any participant under 18 years will need a parent or guardian signature on the waiver form.
As you drive towards the front entrance of the Stoney Nakoda Resort and Casino, on your left hand side you'll see a wooden structure with picnic table and red rafts. Please make your first left hand turn and park at the adjacent parking lot on your right. Then walk across the road to check in with one of our team members.
