Drift down the glacier-fed Bow River as the Three Sisters rise overhead — a calm family-friendly float with big-mountain views, wildlife, and a local guide's stories. No paddling or experience needed.
You push off from the bank and the current does the rest — no paddling, no rush, just the glacier-fed Bow River carrying you through the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Above you, the Three Sisters, Ha Ling Peak, and Mount Rundle rise straight out of the valley, and the water runs that unmistakable Rocky Mountain turquoise. Your guide spots a bald eagle overhead as the forested banks slide past.

This is a gentle 1.5-hour scenic float — calm, safe water suitable for all ages and abilities, with no experience required. We launch from the Canmore Public Boat Launch and drift roughly 4.5 km to our take-out, where our shuttle brings you back to your car. Along the way, your interpretive guide shares the natural and human history of the Bow Valley: the wildlife that lives here, the plants along the banks, and the land long travelled by the Indigenous peoples of this region. Groups stay small, so the raft never feels crowded — bring a camera, because the best views in Canmore are from the middle of the river.

Your guide is a certified Interpretive River Guide and Wilderness First Responder, swift-water trained, running top-of-the-line rafts and safety gear. Every guest is fitted with a personal flotation device and given a full safety briefing before departure.
