Push your limits on a hike through mountains, nature, and spectacular views of the Central Valley. Discover the imposing wind turbines of Santa Ana and enjoy an unforgettable adventure.
The experience begins with a transfer by 4WD vehicle from Santa Ana to a sustainable farm in Piedades de Santa Ana, dedicated to the protection of the golden-eyed frog. There, you'll receive an introductory talk and safety instructions before starting the hike.
You'll embark on a challenging ascent along mountain and forest trails, surrounded by vegetation and wildlife. During the hike, you'll be able to spot birds, enjoy the fresh air, and admire the natural landscapes until you reach the wind turbines on Cerro Pacacua.
At the summit, you'll enjoy breakfast surrounded by nature and stunning panoramic views of the Central Pacific and western Costa Rica.
The descent will be along a different route, with beautiful landscapes and natural vantage points. When you return to the farm, you'll have the chance to visit a waterfall on the property and enjoy lunch overlooking the mountains. Finally, we'll descend by 4WD vehicle to Santa Ana, where this nature and trekking adventure will come to an end.
