Full-day sightseeing tour from Santa Cruz to explore Isabela Island

Discover Isabela in a single day from Santa Cruz and enjoy its beaches, landscapes and wildlife on a nature-filled experience.
You'll begin your adventure by boarding the ferry from Puerto Ayora, in Santa Cruz, to Isabela Island. During the journey, you can enjoy the ocean views and the spectacular natural surroundings of the Galapagos Islands.

Upon arrival at Puerto Villamil, our certified nature tour guide will welcome you to begin the experience. We'll head to Isabela Bay to set sail for the Tintoreras islets, one of the best places to observe the island's wildlife.

In Tintoreras, you can get a closer look at the incredible wildlife of the Galapagos. During the boat trip and the hike, you'll have the opportunity to observe Galápagos penguins, sea lions, sea turtles, rays, tropical fish, and oceanic whitetip sharks in their natural habitat. You'll also cruise through the Tintoreras Channel, where you can enjoy the volcanic landscape and take photos.

Then you'll enjoy a snorkeling experience in the waters of Tintoreras, where you can swim among tropical fish and spot sea turtles, sea lions, and other marine species that make the Galápagos a unique destination.

We will then return to Puerto Villamil to enjoy lunch and take a short break before continuing with the afternoon activities.

After lunch, you'll visit the Flamenco Lagoon, an ideal place to observe these striking birds in their natural environment and enjoy the scenery of Isabela.

Your next stop will be the Arnaldo Tupiza Turtle Breeding Center, where you'll learn about conservation efforts for the giant tortoises of the Galápagos. During the visit, you'll be able to see different specimens and learn about the programs aimed at protecting this iconic species.

Finally, we'll head back to Puerto Villamil to board the ferry for the return trip to Puerto Ayora, wrapping up a comprehensive experience to discover some of Isabela's main natural and cultural attractions in a single day.
