# Valensole Plateau, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie & Verdon Gorge – Private Day Tour

Departing from Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, or the surrounding area at **9:00 AM**, enjoy a private full-day journey through some of Provence's most breathtaking landscapes.

Our first stop is the famous **L'Occitane en Provence** factory in Manosque. Discover the world of this internationally renowned brand, celebrated for its skincare and beauty products made with natural Provençal ingredients such as lavender, immortelle, almond, and verbena. You will also enjoy a **complimentary personalized skin analysis** by a beauty advisor, with no obligation to purchase any products.

We then continue to the magnificent **Valensole Plateau**, famous for its spectacular scenery. **Lavender fields are generally in bloom from early June to mid-July.** During this period, endless purple fields create one of Provence's most iconic landscapes. Outside the lavender season, the plateau remains beautiful, with rolling hills, wheat fields, and stunning panoramic views. Several scenic stops will be made along the way so you can capture unforgettable photos.

We will also stop in the charming village of **Valensole**, where, if you wish, you can enjoy artisan ice cream featuring regional flavors such as lavender, rosemary, honey, and the famous Calisson from Aix-en-Provence.

Next, we visit **Moustiers-Sainte-Marie**, officially listed among **France's Most Beautiful Villages**. Nestled beneath impressive limestone cliffs, the village is renowned for its cobbled streets, fountains, traditional faience pottery workshops, and the famous golden star suspended high above the village. You will have free time to explore at your own pace.

For lunch, you may choose to dine at one of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie's restaurants or purchase food from local shops and enjoy a picnic by the beautiful Lake Sainte-Croix. **Lunch, drinks, and any personal purchases are not included in the tour price.**

Our final destination is **Lake Sainte-Croix**, the gateway to the spectacular **Verdon Gorge**, often referred to as Europe's Grand Canyon. Depending on your preferences, you may rent an electric boat or a pedal boat to explore the gorge, or simply enjoy a relaxing walk around the lake while admiring its crystal-clear turquoise waters. **Please note that electric boat and pedal boat rentals are optional and are not included in the tour price. If you choose this activity, the rental fee is paid directly to the boat rental company.**
