With the 360° Panorama "GREAT BARRIER REEF," the artist Yadegar Asisi creates a portrait of one of the greatest natural wonders on earth that is as impressive as it is sensitive.

The Great Barrier Reef – the largest coral reef on our planet – unfolds over more than 3,000 square meters of panoramic surface with overwhelming detail and color intensity.

From a fictional perspective below the sea surface, visitors experience the fragile beauty of a world that otherwise remains mostly hidden from humans. Iridescent coral, colorful schools of fish, and the refraction of light in the blue and green depths of the ocean create an immersive spatial experience that invites you to marvel.

A specially composed soundscape by Eric Babak, with whom Asisi has been collaborating for many years, complements the visual staging: changes in light between day and night, atmospheric sounds, and music merge with the scenery to create an impressive overall installation.

A thematically complementary exhibition with rare exhibits and a making-of film provide exciting insights and invite you on a journey into a world that is otherwise hidden.

Daily guided tours at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. offer deeper insights into the underwater world and can optionally be booked on site.
