Take part in the exciting history and the legends that still live on today at the World Heritage Site Falu Mine. The guided tour under ground goes through mine passages and past deep shafts.
To join a mine tour, you must be at least three years old and able to climb stairs, as there are many steps when visiting Falu Mine. We take the stairs down, but on the way up we use the elevator.
Helmets and rain capes can be borrowed from us, and it is mandatory to wear them throughout the entire tour. In addition, a warm coat or sweater is recommended, as the temperature in the mine is around six degrees Celsius all year round. Sturdy shoes are also advised, since it is wet and muddy underground.
