On the first day, meet your guide at Varanasi airport or railway station and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a sunset boat ride to witness the grand prayer ceremony on the Ghats of river Ganges. Be transferred to a surreal world, as dozens of big lamps are lighted and swayed in a semi-circle, in tandem by the priests to offer prayers, while singing of Vedic hymns and playing of the traditional instruments, while the visitors release 100 of small earthen lamps with flickering lights.
On the second day, drive to Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride with your guide on the sacred river Ganges to see the sunrise, the cremation Ghats and the sacred rituals. Watch hundreds of faithful take a bath and pray on the banks. The entire scene comes alive as a reassurance of Hindu faith and spiritualism. After the boat ride, visit the sacred city of Sarnath.
On the third day, drive to Prayagraj and take a holy bath at the confluence of the holy rivers Ganges, Yamuna, and invisible Saraswati. Later, take a sightseeing tour that covers Anand Bhawan museum, Hanuman temple, Swaraj Bhawan, and others.
On the fourth day, transfer to the railway station or airport for your onward journey.
