You’ll explore the Philosophical Axis of Yogyakarta, a UNESCO-recognized urban concept that aligns the Mount Merapi (North), Kraton Palace (Center), and South Coast (Parangtritis) — symbolizing harmony between nature, human life, and the divine.
Starting from Tugu Yogyakarta, you’ll walk south through Margo Utomo Street, stopping at iconic and hidden gems like:

No prior art skills required.
Tour runs in light rain. In case of heavy rain, it may be rescheduled.
Wear comfortable shoes as there will be a lot of walking.
Stay hydrated and bring your own water.
Sun protection is advised for outdoor sections.
You will get a travel sketch kit (Pen, pencil, and A4 sixe travelling Sketchbook)
Meet your guide at the north side of Tugu Yogyakarta Monument, near the small plaza by the pedestrian crossing on Jalan Pangeran Mangkubumi. Look for a guide wearing a TravelSketch badge/sign and carrying sketch materials. Please arrive 10 minutes before the activity start.
