On this wonderous tour we will visit the brand new archeological site near the Western Wall from the Second Temple period and buildings from other periods as well. Your tour guide is an IDF soldier and offers tours all over Israel!! We will meet at the Western Wall near the bathrooms by the men's section. First we will talk about the Western Wall, its history and significance. We will discuss the Dome of the Rock, Al Aqsa Mosque and the Kotel Tunnels. We will then make our way to the new archeological site near the Dung Gate. We will discuss the architecture, history and the 300 Mikvas found in the Jerusalem area. This tour is great for people of all faiths and all ages.
