Is the city routine driving you crazy? Leave it all behind for a couple of days and come swallow sand and water with us. This is not your typical boring "sightseeing" trip. We're taking you to Veracruz for two days of pure adrenaline where you'll get tired and you'll get dirty, but above all, you'll have a lot of fun.
We start the adventure by traveling at night from Toluca or Mexico City so that you can take advantage of the opportunity to sleep on the way (or try to, if the excitement lets you).
Day 1: Dunes and Beach
We wake up right in the middle of the action in Chachalacas. We'll give you a board, a helmet and the necessary instructions so that you can take off across the immense dunes. Yes, you'll most likely fall, and yes, you'll get sand in places you didn't know existed, but the speed and the views are totally worth it. After a good sweat, you'll have free time at the beach to wash off the sand, relax, and enjoy something to eat. In the afternoon, we'll head to Jalcomulco, the capital of rafting, to check in to the hotel and rest.
Day 2: Rapids and Return
It's time to get up early to master the river. We'll give you your vest, helmet, and paddle. There's no time for hesitation here: we're facing the rapids of Jalcomulco. Get ready to paddle as a team, get soaked to the bone, and feel the power of the current. At the end of the adventure on the water, you'll have time to bathe, eat, and prepare for the drop-off, with a tired body but with a thousand stories to tell the mortals who stayed cooped up watching TV shows.
