This scenic hike takes you through lush forests, charming Gurung villages, and panoramic viewpoints, with stunning vistas of the Annapurna Range and Machapuchare (Fishtail Mountain).
Drive: Pokhara to Kande (1.5 hours)
Begin your day with a comfortable drive from Pokhara to Kande, enjoying countryside views along the way.
Hike: Kande to Australian Camp (1–1.5 hours)
A gentle uphill hike through forest trails leads you to the famous Australian Camp, an incredible viewpoint offering sweeping Himalayan panoramas. Break at Australian Camp. Relax, take photos, and see (if the weather is clear) the majestic mountain scenery; hike from Australian Camp to Dhampus Village (1.5–2 hours) and descend through rhododendron forests and terraced fields to the traditional village of Dhampus, rich in culture and local charm, Dhampus to Phedi (1–1.5 hours). Continue your descent on stone steps through scenic landscapes to reach Phedi. And Phedi → Pokhara (45 minutes): return to Pokhara by private vehicle, ending your fulfilling day.

This hike is suitable for anyone with a basic level of fitness, but please note there are some uphill sections and stone steps, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
