The Mardi Himal trek is a 6-day journey through the sacred lands of the Mardi Himal region. Along the way, you will visit important Hindu temples, Buddhist shrines, and other holy places.
The Mardi Himal Religious Trek is a spiritual 6-day adventure that takes you to some of the most important religious sites in the region. Along the route, you will visit Hindu temples, Buddhist monasteries, and sacred spots that have been places of worship for centuries.

The trek will guide you to Bindabasini Temple in Pokhara, dedicated to the goddess Durga, where you can offer prayers. At the Gurung Buddhist Monastery, you will experience Buddhist teachings and meditation. You will also visit the Buddhist Stupa and Ghale Gaun Temple, both of which are known for their religious significance. Each site holds its own special place in the hearts of the local people, and your guide will share their stories, helping you connect more deeply with the spiritual side of this trek.

Throughout the trek, you will have time for daily prayers. The peaceful settings of these religious sites, surrounded by nature, will allow you to feel spiritually connected and at peace.

Itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Kande and trek to Pothana (3 hours). Visit the Gurung Buddhist Monastery for a short meditation session and learn about the region’s Buddhist culture.
Day 2: Trek to Forest Camp (6 hours). Visit a Buddhist Stupa where you can meditate and reflect.
Day 3: Trek to Low Camp (4 hours). Visit Ghale Gaun Temple, a sacred Hindu temple, and take part in a prayer ceremony.
Day 4: Trek to High Camp (5 hours). Stop at the Mardi Himal Viewpoint and offer prayers to the mountain gods, honoring the sacredness of the mountains.
Day 5: Trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp and descend to Low Camp (7 hours). Here, you can offer prayers and make offerings to Mardi Himal, a sacred peak.
Day 6: Descend to Sidding and Drive to Pokhara. Visit Lakeside Temple by Phewa Lake to conclude your spiritual journey, offering thanks and prayers for a safe trek.
