From Arequipa: 2-day excursion to Misti Volcano

Are you adventurous? Climb the Misti volcano with this 2-day excursion from Arequipa. You will enjoy a route full of beautiful natural landscapes at more than 5800 meters of altitude.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arequipa - Misti Volcano
We will pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. and drive in a 4x4 vehicle to the Misti volcano via the Chiguata route. After a two-hour drive, we will reach an altitude of 3300 meters. Are you ready for the adventure?

Once there, we will start the ascent on foot up the slope of the volcano. We will walk while admiring the incredible views that this place offers us until we reach the desired base camp, located at 4800 meters.

After six hours of hiking, we will have dinner and rest at the camp until the next day.

Day 2: Misti Volcano - Arequipa
After a good early start, we will enjoy a comforting breakfast with tortillas, toast and a hot drink to get our strength back. We will need it! After this, we will begin the ascent to the top of the Misti volcano.

We will make a long hike to reach 5825 meters. When we reach our goal, you will have an hour of free time to take beautiful pictures of the views you will have from the crater of the volcano. You will be the envy of your family and friends!

Finally, we will start the descent to 3300 meters of altitude, where the 4x4 vehicle will be waiting for us to take us back to Arequipa. Arrival at your hotels is scheduled for 14:00 hours.
