Discover in a mysterious stone forest, let yourself be impressed with one of the most impressive places in Cajamarca.
This magical archaeological sanctuary houses a large forest of stone monilitos, hydraulic engineering, an aqueduct that still works today.
We will start our excursion by picking you up at your hotel at 9:30 am. From here we will go to Cumbemayo which is surrounded by a forest of stones, which in their silhouettes look like frailones.
We will visit the aqueduct of Cumbemayo, which stands out for being an important work of hydraulic engineering of the pre-Columbian period, curiously the water continues flowing along 9 kilometers.
We will also visit the Sanctuary and some caves carved in the rock whose meaning is an enigma.
On the way back you will enjoy fantastic views of Cajamarca. We will return to the city arriving at 13:00h approximately.
