Your incredible experience begins early, with pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 4:00 am We will depart on a 3-hour drive through the picturesque South Valley, surrounded by agricultural terraces. Incas, traditional towns and the imposing Andean peaks that mark the landscape.

Upon reaching Llacto, 4,638 meters above sea level, you will enjoy a delicious Andean breakfast while watching the herds of alpacas and llamas grazing nearby, a true living postcard of rural life. Then, we will continue with a short van ride to the trailhead.

The walk begins following a meandering stream with crystal-clear waters, with the majestic Cerro Ausangate and its glaciers as a backdrop.
