The two-day Inca Trail is perfect for those who are short on time. Follow the trail of the ancient inhabitants and reach the sacred city of Machu Picchu.
The One Day Inca Trail is a low intensity hike that will take you to explore the impressive complex of Wiñay Wayna and to enter through the mythical Sun Gate, "Inti Punku", like the ancient pilgrims to the sacred citadel of Machu Picchu.
Day 1:
We depart for the train station in Poroy and board the train bound for kilometer 104. From there, we begin the Inca Trail Express, a gentle hike to explore Wiñaywayna. After a box-lunch style lunch, we continue to Machu Picchu, entering through the Intipunku or Sun Gate. We will spend the night in one of the hotels in Aguas Calientes.
Day 2:
Early in the morning, our tour guide will take us to the Lost City of the Incas for an exclusive visit. We will enjoy its impressive terraces, stairways, temples and urban areas. We will feel the unique energy of the place. We will have free time to explore at our own pace. At the end, we will take the train back and be transferred to our hotel in Cusco.
