Live this pleasant experience by visiting the chullpas of sullustani belonging to the pre-Inca culture, an ancient and very sacred place.
The Chullpas of Sillustani are impressive constructions of tombs, many of these with a height of up to 12 metres, with an inverted cone shape, these tombs were for the bodies of the highest Kolla authorities, being the most representative of the Inca empire.
Itinerary
- Our adventure begins with the pick up from the hotel at 2:00 p.m. approximately.
- We will travel 40 minutes approximately, and we will arrive at a viewpoint to observe the city of Puno.
- Arriving at Sillustani, we will take a walk to also observe the Waruwaru, hydraulic systems of pre-Hispanic cultivation fields.
- We will be able to see the flora and fauna of the place and the Umayo lagoon.
- On the way back we will visit a local house to see how the local people live and their customs.
