Rabaçal is one of Madeira's most spectacular natural areas, and there is more than one way to experience it. This experience gives you the freedom to choose the hike that best matches your interests, fitness level, and the kind of day you want to have.
For experienced hikers, the 25 Fontes & Risco combination offers a more complete experience. If you prefer something easier or are traveling with family members who are less confident on longer or more demanding trails, you can choose PR6.2 - Levada do Alecrim and PR6.3 - Vereda da Lagoa do Vento instead.
Before your hike, receive digital hiking maps, route information, practical recommendations, information about the selected trail, advice on how to organize your time, transport and return logistics, and support with your preparation before setting off.
Once you arrive at Rabaçal, you'll have up to 4.5 hours to enjoy the area, depending on the return schedule selected. Walk at your own pace, stop for photographs, discover waterfalls and lagoons, enjoy a picnic, and take your time in the forest.
When conditions and safety allow, you can even cool off in one of the natural lagoons. The idea is simple: you choose the trail, you choose your pace, and you enjoy Rabaçal your way.
The experience can also include an additional local touch. Depending on the group's agreement and the day's schedule, you may make a short stop in one of Madeira's picturesque villages on the return journey.
