On day two, discover Bucharest on a guided city tour. Visit the Village Museum and explore its collection of traditional Romanian houses, churches, mills and farmsteads from different regions of the country. Continue to the Palace of Parliament, one of the world's largest administrative buildings and one of Bucharest's most recognizable landmarks. Learn about Romania's traditional culture, modern history and communist-era heritage from your professional guide.
On day three, leave Bucharest and travel through the Carpathian Mountains to Sinaia. Visit Sinaia Monastery before continuing to Peleș Castle, the former summer residence of the Romanian Royal Family. Admire its impressive architecture and richly decorated interiors.
