Begin your journey with a pickup from your accommodation in Belgrade. Head to the Monastery of Manasija, set in the valley of the Resava River and surrounded by the green hills of a vivid gorge. Admire the magnificent walls and towers of the medieval fortress and see the fresco paintings treasured by the Holy Trinity Church. Climb fortification walls and take special perspective photos!
Next, visit Resava Cave, one of the oldest and most beautiful caves in Serbia. Explore the interior of the cave, which abounds in numerous and varied galleries, columns, channels, draperies, stalactites, stalagmites and petrified waterfalls.
Continue to the Veliki Buk Waterfall with wonderful scenery, calm and pleasant sounds of water, and tasty homemade food from nearby restaurants, perfect for an optional lunch break or picnic. Located at the foot of Beljanica Mountain, the waterfall is protected as a natural monument. Admire the gorgeous amphitheater around the waterfall, carved in karst terrain by the unstoppable power of water. Here we take extra effort and unlike the vast majority of visitors we're taking a short hike to the river source where water is rushing directly from the mountain spring!
Finally, visit the Natural History Center of Serbia in Svilajnac, a modern scientific, educational, and entertainment complex that blends indoor museum exhibits with an outdoor dinosaur park. Explore the 9 permanent exhibitions, including the history of the Earth, evolution of hominids, African animals, and Serbian biodiversity.
At the end of the tour, return back to Belgrade where you will be dropped off at your accommodation or another central location of your choice.
