From the castle’s terrace, enjoy spectacular panoramic views over the lake and its island. Take a short lakeside stroll and even a ride on a traditional wooden boat called a pletna to visit the island and its charming church, where you can ring the wishing bell for good luck.

Before leaving Bled, make a sweet stop for the famous Bled cream cake (kremšnita) — a beloved local dessert that has been delighting visitors since 1953.

Next, venture into the pristine Triglav National Park, home to Slovenia’s highest mountain and its largest protected area.
