Your journey begins with a warm welcome from our friendly instructors and a refreshing drink such as tea, coffee, or fresh king coconut.

You will then be introduced to the basics of traditional pottery techniques used in Sri Lanka. Our experienced instructor will guide you step by step through the entire process.

First, you will learn how to work with clay and get familiar with the pottery wheel. With hands-on support, you will shape your own clay pot and experience the calming rhythm of wheel throwing.

Next, you will explore hand-building and sculpting techniques, allowing you to create additional clay shapes or artistic designs using your imagination.

Once your clay piece is formed, you can enjoy the creative process of painting and decorating your pottery using provided colors and tools. This is where your personal creativity truly comes alive.

Take Home Your Creation

At the end of the session, you can take your painted clay item home on the same day after it dries.

If you would like to keep your wheel-made pottery piece, we also offer a kiln-firing service, which strengthens and preserves your creation. Your finished piece can be safely packaged and delivered to you within approximately 7 days.
