Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Begin your safari with morning pickup from your hotel, apartment, or residence in Arusha. Meet your driver-guide and travel to Tarangire National Park.

Enjoy a game drive through beautiful landscapes filled with ancient baobab trees, open savannah, seasonal wetlands, and the Tarangire River. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and offers opportunities to see giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes, monkeys, lions, and many bird species.

Your guide will help children identify different animals and explain their behavior in an interesting and easy-to-understand way. Stop for a picnic lunch at a designated area inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Later, travel to a comfortable family-friendly lodge near Lake Manyara or Karatu. Check in, enjoy dinner, and relax during your overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Family Safari

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at the crater viewpoint to enjoy the scenery before descending approximately 600 meters to the crater floor.

Explore the crater in your private safari vehicle while searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, and many bird species.

The Ngorongoro Crater is also home to the endangered black rhinoceros, although sightings depend on nature and cannot be guaranteed.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site, usually near the hippo pool. Since the safari is private, your guide can include additional comfort and photography stops when needed.

After the game drive, return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and your second overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park and Return to Arusha

After breakfast, check out from the lodge and travel to Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive.

Discover the park’s groundwater forest, acacia woodland, open grasslands, wetlands, and lakeshore. Look for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, baboons, blue monkeys, antelopes, and colorful birdlife.

Lake Manyara is also known for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are rare and cannot be guaranteed. Flamingos and other waterbirds may be seen depending on the season and lake conditions.

After the game drive and lunch, begin the return journey to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or another agreed location.
