Over three incredible days, you will explore Tarangire National Park, the diverse ecosystem of Lake Manyara, and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, home to the legendary Big Five.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins in Arusha, where you’ll meet your guide in the morning and set off on a scenic drive towards Tarangire National Park. The drive takes about two hours, and as you enter the park, you’ll be welcomed by vast savannahs, towering baobab trees, and an abundance of wildlife. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, and as you drive through the park, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to see these gentle giants along with lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and countless bird species.

A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. After an exciting afternoon game drive, you’ll head to your lodge near the park for a relaxing evening under the stars, enjoying a warm dinner before resting up for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you’ll depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a short but scenic drive away. This compact yet diverse park is known for its lush forests, picturesque lake, and a wide range of wildlife. One of its most famous attractions is the tree-climbing lions, a rare phenomenon found in only a few places in Africa. As you explore, you may also encounter elephants, hippos, flamingos, and large troops of baboons moving through the forest.

The park’s alkaline Lake Manyara is a stunning sight, often covered in a pink haze of thousands of flamingos, and it also attracts other bird species such as pelicans and storks. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch with a view of the lake before continuing your game drive in search of more wildlife. By late afternoon, you’ll drive to your lodge near Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you can unwind with a hearty dinner and prepare for the highlight of your safari the next day.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Your final day begins early as you descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations. Often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," this massive volcanic caldera is home to an incredible concentration of animals, making it one of the best places to spot the Big Five.

The crater floor offers a unique safari experience, with diverse landscapes ranging from open grasslands to acacia forests and freshwater lakes. As you explore, you might witness a pride of lions on the hunt, hippos lazing in a pool, or flamingos wading in the soda lakes. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the crater, giving you time to soak in the scenery before you begin the drive back to Arusha.

By late afternoon, you’ll arrive back in Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable Legacy safari experience.
