Chiang Mai: 2-Days Jungle Trek, Waterfalls and Karen Village

The perfect blend of adventure, nature, and cultural immersion. Explore lush forests, discover breathtaking waterfalls, and experience life in a traditional Karen village.
Day 1
07:00 AM - 07:30 AM: Pick-up at your Hotel/Guesthouse/Hostel
We begin the day with a pick-up from your accommodation, and drive for about 45 minutes to a local market. Here, you can grab a coffee or buy snacks and personal supplies if you wish. After that, we have 20 minutes more to drive to reach our starting point at the Karen Village.

Upon arrival, we'll provide a brief introduction before starting our hike through the farmlands of the hilltribes. After approximately 4 hours of hiking through the stunning natural surroundings, we'll reach a waterfall where we’ll take a break for lunch.

Our next stop is the remote Jungle Camp, which we’ll reach after an additional 3 hours of trekking. Once there, we’ll settle in for the night.

In the early evening, it’s time to cook! You’re welcome to join our guide for preparing the meal, and you'll have the opportunity to learn about the herbs and other ingredients that make Thai food so flavorful. After enjoying a delicious dinner, we’ll relax around the campfire, stargazing and sharing stories — a night you won’t forget.

Day 2
We wake up to the sounds of the jungle and the barking of village dogs, then gather for breakfast.

After regaining our strength, we begin the second day of hiking through the natural beauty of Doi Inthanon. This area is one of the last remaining habitats for the Asiatic Black Bear, Assamese Macaque, and various other monkeys and gibbons.

As we continue, we'll pass through more beautiful landscapes and arrive at another hilltribe village where we’ll stop for lunch. After some rest, we’ll continue our hike with renewed energy, trekking for another 3 hours to reach another stunning waterfall. We’ll take some time to refresh ourselves before walking back to the truck for our return journey to Chiang Mai.

After an amazing day of exploration, we will drop you back at your hotel around 6:00 - 6:30 PM.
