It is situated on a peninsular overlooking Lake Edward and Kazinga Channel hence offering a beautiful view of the park and the Rwenzori Mountains in the background. The park resides in a fertile, equatorial area and has beautiful scenes. Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the parks with the big five animals which include elephants, buffaloes, lions to mention but a few plus other park’s animals such as hippos and attractive birdlife.
