Begin your day with pickup from your hotel or residence in Kampala or Entebbe and an early drive east toward Jinja. The first stop is Ssezibwa Falls, a scenic site known for both its natural beauty and its importance in Buganda cultural heritage. Walk along the green trails surrounding the falls and hear the myths and legends linked to the twin streams of the Ssezibwa River. Depending on conditions, there may also be opportunities for birdwatching and rock climbing near the top of the falls.

Continue toward Jinja, passing through lush countryside before arriving at the Source of the Nile. Here, take a motorized boat ride across Lake Victoria to the point where the Nile begins its northbound journey. In the afternoon, head to Itanda Falls, around 27 km north of Jinja. This dramatic stretch of the Victoria Nile is known for its grade-6 rapids, churning through narrow rocky channels with spray and thunderous force. Watch expert kayakers and white-water rafters tackle the water, then take a guided walk along the riverbanks and islands for wider views and photos. After the visit, begin the return drive to Kampala, where the tour finishes in the evening depending on traffic.
