Uganda: 3-Day Lake Mburo National Park Adventure Tour

Embark on a 3-day adventure to Lake Mburo National Park, home to 350 bird species as well as zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi, and reedbuck. Enjoy a boat cruise, game drives, and nature walks.

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport and Transfer to Lake Mburo with Evening Game Drive
Upon your arrival in Uganda, be welcomed and picked up by a guide who will transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park. Have lunch on the way. On arrival at Lake Mburo National Park, go for a short game drive. After the game drive, go for a boat cruise. Over 300 hippos are found in the lake. Observe different water birds together with their echoing sweet sounds and animals such as hippos, African crocodiles, waterbucks, buffaloes, and more. Then check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Nature Walk in the Park
Go for a morning game drive after breakfast. Witness different mammal species like the climbing lions, zebras that are in abundant among other animals. Head back to your hotel for lunch and later in the evening engage in some nature walk around the park. Encounter wildlife at a close range and this experience is safe as you do it in the presence of a game ranger.

Day 3: Biking and Horse Riding Safari and Transfer to Kampala with Equator Stopover
Have an early breakfast, head out for the morning tour of the park either on a bicycle safari and/ or horse riding which are both optional and can be paid for at the park. Due to Lake Mburo National Park’s richness in diversity that ranges from Savannah vegetation, woodlands, forests, seasonal and permanent swamp hence being a habitat to many wildlife and bird species. After engaging in the optional activities in the park, start your journey to the airport. On your way, have a stopover at the Equator in Masaka, see where this imaginary line divides our planet into two equal hemispheres. Snacks, souvenirs and photographs may be taken here.
