Nestled on the outskirts of Orlando's suburban landscape lies the "Real Florida," a region defined by subtropical wetlands that provide habitats for a diverse range of wildlife. Adventures in Florida offers two unique birdwatching tours that focus on exploring these vibrant ecosystems.

Along the St. Johns River and its surrounding watershed, expansive floodplain marshes create an ideal habitat that attracts more bird species than any other inland area in central Florida. Visitors can encounter over 200 species of birds throughout the year, including herons, egrets, bald eagles, anhingas, swallow-tailed kites, snail kites, limpkin, roseate spoonbills, ducks, warblers, and many more. Grab your binoculars and embark on an adventure where water and sky come together to form a birdwatching paradise.

The longer tour offers a more immersive experience, covering a greater distance of the river and providing additional opportunities to observe various birds and the surrounding environment. This tour also includes a light picnic lunch.
