Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to see grizzly bears in their natural habitat on this tour from Campbell River. Travel deep into Bute Inlet where salmon spawn in the Orford River and watch as grizzly bears emerge from the forest to feast on the plentiful salmon.
Depart from the Campbell River Marine Adventure Centre aboard a comfortable, heated, covered vessel for a scenic 2-hour boat trip to Orford Bay in Bute Inlet. Here, begin a 3-hour land-based experience surrounded by the spectacular mainland mountains.
Local First Nations guides will transport you by bus up the Orford River to a variety of raised wildlife viewing platforms and prime ground viewing locations to look for magnificent grizzly bears, Roosevelt elk, bald eagles, and more.
