1. Local Market in Surquillo:
Start your adventure in the colorful Surquillo Market, a vibrant and friendly place. Here you will have the opportunity to taste exotic fruits from different regions of Peru, such as the coast, the jungle and the Andes. One of the most representative dishes you will taste will be the ceviche, but this time you will enjoy a special version, the "ceviche with cushuro", a seaweed from the Andean lakes considered an ancestral delicacy. In addition, you can't miss the "Causa Rellena", a delicious preparation of mashed yellow potatoes, stuffed with vegetables and shredded chicken. 2. Local Market in Surco:
We continue our culinary experience at the Mercado de Santiago de Surco, a traditional place with a history dating back to colonial times. This market is famous for its jungle dishes, such as "Juanes de Pollo" and "Chaufa de Cecina", prepared with fresh and organic ingredients from the Peruvian Amazon. 3. Ugarelli Vineyard:
We end the tour with a visit to the historic Ugarelli vineyard, located in Surco. This vineyard is famous for keeping alive the traditions of Peru, celebrating the Harvest Festival since 1938. Here you will learn about the production process of young dry, semi-dry and sweet wines, as well as the elaboration of Pisco and macerated wines, a true jewel of Peruvian viticulture.
