Introductory course to Sport Rock Climbing to learn how to climb and belay independently and safely.
After meeting your professional guide in Urduliz (Bilbao) and receiving the equipment, you will learn and practice the fundamental techniques and maneuvers to be able to climb equipped single-pitch rock routes safely and independently. You'll experience the feel of the limestone at the foot of the route while mastering the quickdraw, the figure eight knot, and dynamic belaying. Afterwards, you will move on to action, progressing up the wall and practicing placing quickdraws. Finally, you will learn the critical belaying maneuver for rappelling. Get started in sport climbing with a solid foundation!
