Begin your adventure by meeting your guide at the small bridge over the Ma Oya on the historic Loolkandura Estate, the birthplace of Ceylon tea. After a quick safety briefing and gear check, set off on your trek.

Start with a gentle but steady ascent on scenic estate tracks through the tea plantation. Learn about the estate’s history and tea production from your guide. Follow relatively flat estate roads across Stellenberg, passing villages and tea fields. Enjoy a packed lunch with panoramic views, perfect for photos. Begin the downhill stretch through tea fields and forest edges, with views of Ramboda Pass and waterfalls. Stop for short breaks and hydration as needed.

Conclude the hike where the trail meets the main road near Glenoch Tea Factory. Take an optional 2-kilometer walk to Tawalantenne village central if you want to explore local food, shops, or transport connections.
