Have you always wanted to know the secret of making baos and discover the world of Asian cuisine? Then take part in this workshop, and step into the chef's shoes for over 3h30 and leave with your homemade baos!
Accompanied by the restaurant's founder, Ying, learn how to make two baos recipes that can be adapted to vegetarian diets. This white (wheat flour), smooth, stuffed bun is a street specialty in China. In comparison, it's just as popular as viennoiseries in France.
On the program for this workshop:
- First, the shaping of the dough,
- Then came the preparation of two different meat and vegetable fillings (with the option of making two vegetarian/vegan recipes),
- Then came the most technical part of the process: braiding the dough. The braiding technique requires real know-how, and thanks to our chef, you'll become unbeatable!
- Finally, you'll discover steaming and cook your baos directly in traditional bamboo baskets.
- At the end of the cooking process, you can enjoy your baos... The baos can also be taken home (that is, if you're brave enough not to eat them all on the spot!).
Throughout the workshop, you'll be able to share tips and tricks with our chef. It's the perfect way to discover Chinese culture, whether on your own or in a group! Afterwards, baos will hold no secrets for you...

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
