Start your day with a relaxing stop at Durres Beach, one of Albania’s most popular coastal destinations. Enjoy a pleasant coffee break along the Lungomare promenade while feeling the fresh sea breeze and watching the Adriatic waves. This short seaside pause offers a refreshing start before heading inland toward Berat.

Continue toward Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its remarkably preserved Ottoman architecture and rich history. Upon arrival, explore Berat Castle, a unique fortress where local families still live within its ancient stone walls. Walk through cobbled streets, admire breathtaking panoramic views over the city, and discover well-preserved Byzantine churches hidden inside the castle complex.

After the castle visit, enjoy a guided walk through the historic neighborhoods of Mangalem and Gorica, situated on opposite sides of the Osumi River and connected by the iconic Gorica Bridge. These charming quarters, with their white Ottoman houses and large windows, give Berat its famous nickname: “The City of a Thousand Windows.”
